Panel on China, Business and Geopolitics

I had a chance to sit on a panel about China, Business and Geopolitics at the first Global Photonics Economic Forum. The photonics industry produces a large number of key and strategic goods, and is right at the center of US-China rivalry for telecommunications, AI, and quantum computing, among others.

Our panel on China and Geopolitics was extremely lively. Issues of geopolitics are clearly front and center for the corporate leaders in the audience. I’m glad to see Optica making an effort to educate and help the industry navigate the emerging complexities of doing business in a fragmented world
